My Habitat and Niche

Everybody and everything has their own habitat. A habitat is the environment that an organism lives in. Animals have habitats as well as humans do. My habitat is my 2 story, 3 bedroom house. My house is brown with a green roof, located by a patch of woods.

My habitat just recently changed because I moved less than a year ago. My habitat is filled with objects I use basically everyday. Just like every habitat needs to have, there is food and water in my home. There are two bathrooms. I also have my own habitat that is only mine, which is my room.My room is dark gray and it has my bed and clothes that I use everyday. Your own habitat has the things you need because you are adapted to the environment you live in. I share my habitat with my mom, dad, and brother when he comes home from college. I also have two dogs and a chinchilla that also share my habitat with me. You need a habitat in order to survive.
Not only does everybody and everything has a habitat, but they also have a niche. A niche is your job or role in your environment. In this case, my niche is going to school and playing sports. I have to go to school so I can get educated. My role is to play sports. I play volleyball and softball, which makes playing those sports my role. My brother, who is 19, has a niche that is similar to mine. He goes to college and I go to school. So, we both have to go to school, which is our job. My parents don’t have a similar niche to mine. On the other hand, they have a different niche to mine. My mom and dad both work, which is their job. They have to make money so they can play their role as parents. My brother also works as well. In the future, my niche will change and I may have a similar one with my parents or brother. My habitat may also change in the future. Since the world is changing slowly, but fast, the future will be different. You may not have the same habitat as you do now because it could be destroyed or changed. Trees and other objects are being destroyed and more buildings are being built. Stuff is also getting more and more expensive, which means you have to watch what you buy for your habitat. You may also live in a different environment in the future. Your niche and habitat will change because you keep growing up. You may have kids in the future, which will change everything. You will have to decide if the changing of your habitat and niche is for the good or for the bad. In conclusion, everyone has their own habitat and niche, but their own can be different from somebody else’s.
